The Dodgers Win on Jackie Robinson Day at Dodger Stadium, Los Angeles

When Jackie Robinson became the first black man to play on an MLB Team, it was none other than with the Dodgers!  Of course, this was in 1947 and they were the “Brooklyn Dodgers”.  But as of many years now, the dodgers find their home in Los Angeles with their own zip-coded neighborhood of “Dodgertown” and most of us Angelenos seriously love our Dodgers.

And yesterday, on what is officially the historic “Jackie Robinson Day” the dodgers won in a 5-4 walkoff against the San Diego Padres. Woot woot.

If you’re coming to Los Angeles to do some sightseeing, or are beginning to plan your Los Angeles vacation, you might consider going to a good ol’ American baseball game and enjoy the nice spring weather at the redone Dodger Stadium!

Check the MLB schedule, and come by the office at LA City Tours and we’ll figure out how we can get you there!
